Photo Moment + Food Dilemma

I realized that I have to stop being frustrated wtih Rogers and start appreciating what I have in life right now.

This is Michael eating his morning oatmeal with his hands (the spoon was too much to handle).
This is the only meal of the day which he loves.

He is the pickiest eater I've ever come accross. He literally eats nothing, which is causing him to be underweight.
He is 16 months and only eats oatmeal, rice, grilled cheese, bread, crackers & cookies.It's an everyday struggle for me, because I don't want him to be starving, but when I try to give him food, he turns his head away and wants nothing to do with it. If I give him a plate of something, he just turns it upside down and runs off.

Any suggestions on how to trick him into eating?

Macaroni and cheese with sliced hot dog. Although is he too young for hot dogs? It's been so long...

I used KD for my daughter, but added hot dog slices, hunks of canned tuna, chopped up tomatoes, or salsa, and always extra cheese grated on top. :)

@lettucebeans
Thanks for your suggestions!
He ate mac&cheese & hot dog pieces in the beginning, but doesn't like them anymore.
Really don't know what his problem is!
I was able to feed him a turkey sandwich yesterday though, that made me incredibly happy!

I have a super picky almost 4 year old so I feel your pain. I try not to stress just offer snack an "treats" that are filled with nutrition to make up for it. I don't know if he's old enough but multi vitamins are a good idea.

following you back.:)

Thank you for following me, I am now returning the follow. So you have a picky eater as well? My daughter was the same exact way! She wouldn't eat any green foods, so her iron dipped really low. So that's when they said to give her grits. She loved them so it worked great. Luckily she grew out of it, so hopefully he will too!

@Stacey @ ecomodern mom
I've been just thinking about multi-vitamins! Hopefully I'll be able to find some liquid ones, haven't seen them as of yet.

@Katie Adams
Grits is actually an interesting idea! I'll definitely look into that. Thanks!
